I'm thinking of switching to an electric toothbrush and would like to know if it's really as helpful as people say. Also, my mom has a myth that it softens her gums. I'm not sure, so I'm just looking for feedback.

I decided to switch to an electric toothbrush because I'd heard a lot about its effectiveness and quickly noticed a difference after using a sonic electric toothbrush. It removes plaque much better than a regular toothbrush, and it doesn't damage my gums. My mother was worried about her gums becoming soft, but in reality, my teeth are cleaner, my gums are healthier, and cleaning my teeth has become much easier.
