Forums -> UltraMon™ -> Disable screensaver when certain applications are active

as the topic says, is there any way to do this? say i am capturing tv, i don't want the screensaver to become active. would i have to disable the screensaver before launching, or is there an automatic way.
and, since the main feature i am trying ultramon for right now is the secondary taskbar (btw - i like the proportional stretching of the wallpaper so much it may convince me to buy the software based on that alone) is there anyway to have the secondary taskbar on the bottom of the screen as opposed to the top where my main taskbar resides?
thanks.
i am really starting to like ultramon, and have only been using it for a little while (a few hours actually). i definately like having separate screensavers, as my primary monitor is shared between two pcs, and most screensavers (opengl) that span across the two, leave something to be desired when only one of the screens is viewable.
i guess one more thing and i will stop..
is there anyway to disable the tray icon, and instead launch the configuration manually? i am picky about my system tray....
thanks again,
dave

alright, sorry i didn't look too deeply before asking all my questions, found out how to move the taskbar, didn't think the resize area would be the right place to try dragging.

UltraMon doesn't support disabling the screen saver when a specific application is active, this would need to be handled by the application directly.

Hiding the system tray icon is only supported for regular users, for administrators it will always be added. See Hide the system tray icon for non-admin users for more on this option.

But if you have Windows XP or later, you could hide the icon via Control Panel > Taskbar and Start Menu > Notification area > Customize.

thanks for the answers.. guess the only one i got what i wanted for, was the one i found myself.
since i am the admin, and would never use a limited account on my own pc, the icon can't be hidden. since, using the taskbar notification hiding feature, adds an icon anyways. there is no point in doing that.

I use a program called Caffe1ne to keep my screen saver from coming on. I generally use it for my laptop GPS program when I'm driving. You can find a copy here:

Playing this game in the winter snow rider 3d is a blast because of all the festive touches, such themed objects and holiday decorations. Playing as a downhill racer at top speed is made even more exhilarating by the fluid animations and dramatic camera motions.

You don’t need to do this on a MacBook as macOS already prevents the screensaver from turning on automatically when certain apps (like full-screen videos or presentations) are active.
