Not sure if these are known quirks with the version 3 release or not.
(1) I don't see any icons for shifting a window to another monitor. I can click to the left of the Minimize button and make it work, but there's no icon displayed there on the title bar. I just see the regular Minimize, Maximize/Restore, and Close.
(2) Can you mirror monitors with this version? If so, how do you do it? When I right-click UltraMon in the tray, I see no option for Mirroring. Only the following: Display Settings Display Profiles Screensaver Shortcuts Wallpaper Desktop Icons Disable Secondary Set Primary Windows Display Properties Options Help About Close
Thanks.

UltraMon in vista is a mess, not worth installing it yet. Maybe next year.

Will the earlier version even work on Vista? Does it work better or worse than the newer version?

2.7.1 works mostly fine on Vista, but won't fix 1) or 2). See Windows Vista compatibility for more information.
Support for window buttons under Vista is planned for the second beta, mirroring for the 3rd.
