I have tried everything to get this screen saver to work on both monitors. Yes it is the one from chaos. Please help!!

Current desktop: 1824x768 (0,0 - 1824,768)
Monitor 1 - Default Monitor (primary):
Settings: 800x600, 32-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 0,0 - 800,600. Workspace: 0,0 - 800,600
Video card: 3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Banshee
Device: \\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0
Monitor 2 - Samsung SyncMaster 570V/580V TFT:
Settings: 1024x768, 24-bit color, 60 Hz refresh rate
Coordinates: 800,0 - 1824,768. Workspace: 800,0 - 1824,768
Video card: Intel(r) 82810 Graphics Controller
Device: \\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0

Did you get any error messages? The Matrix screen saver has native multi-monitor support and shouldn't require any workarounds.

no errors. I can get them to both display in the preview screen but when it comes time to go...zip. I can get it either on one or the other but not both. Hope u can help!

If you are using UltraMon to configure the screen saver, you'll need to set it up like this:
- Matrix screen saver assigned to the primary monitor
- preview mode not checked
Because this screen saver has native multi-monitor support, it isn't necessary to run it using UltraMon (but shouldn't hurt either).

I did what u said and it ran matrix on the secondary. I selected no screen saver for the secondary and it still ran on the secondary???
One thing, the preview mode is always checked on the secondary.

I just tested the 1.50 version, and had the same problem (both when running it by itself or with UltraMon).
To get it running on all monitors, click Settings, then check 'use current resolution for all screens'.

still no luck
i tried all combinations of the setting you decribed. Use current res, i set it on the primary only, secondary only, both and still no double matrix. I even tried both res with no luck.
I guess im outta luck,

i had the same problem would only show on monitor....after downloading like 4 different matrix screen savers i found one by "Kelly software" works great on both monitors you can even change the text colors.....i am using the Matrox G400Max in stretch mode on two monitors works fine..also worked fine on independant mode

XtremeAzzKicker: I'm having the same problem. Trying to get the matrix SS working and I've tried everything listed below. One problem is for the 2nd monitors screen saver I CAN'T uncheck the preview button but the 1st monitor can be unchecked. When using other screen savers like 3d pipes both screens display the screen saver but in a restricted area. Its really odd.. but any kind of combo won't fix this prob. oh btw..

I got mine to work!
going for three monitors now
The trick is to make sure that both mons are running the same res. I had one a 800 x 600 and one at 1028, switched both to the later and all is well

But it should work on different resolutions as well. I know for sure, that it worked with my primary running at 1280X1024 and my secondary at 1024X766, but I had to reinstall everything since a lightning f***ed up my system (nasty thing...). But now it runs on the screen with the lowest res, while the others stay black. Does anybody have an older version of the SCR? Perhaps the new one causes the problems, because I know, that the previous version, which worked on my system didn't show quotes from the movie...

Now I also tried version 1.36 and it works at all resolutions. So this seems to be a bug of the new version and I already send a mail to chaossoft...

the only limitation is that it only runs on multimonsystems which have their primary monitor at the left side...
bad for me, cause i have mine on the right :(
maybe one of you guys knows a workaround...
so go and try this baby out, i promise you that its worth the klick :D
