I am setting up a multi-monitor AutoCAD workstation. I will be using 2 Viewsonic 21" P810 monitors and I was wondering how much space is required between the monitors so there is no interference or distortion in either monitor. Can the monitors be place directly beside one another?

Depends on how well-shielded the monitors are. If you do have interference, use different refresh rates with each monitor, this should eliminate it.
