I'm new to this multi-monitor thing but i truly love my new setup - only i've got a couple of problems
I've tried running few different resolutions trying to find something that i liked and i found that:
1. with the same refresh rates(75hz) on both monitors, i get a horizontal line that goes down the left monitor and up the right one perfectly in sync - it takes about four seconds to scan from the top to the bottom - is this interference or what?
2. are there any potential hazards with having different refresh rates on your monitors - e.g. will having two different rates give you headaches or nausea etc??
thanks mark

The line you see is interference. As for question 2, I don't have any problems with running different refresh rates (100, 85 and 75 Hz on my 3 monitors), but this doesn't necessarily apply to everyone else. Interference can also be eliminated by moving the monitors further apart or by putting some shielding material between them (see the thread on shielding for more information).
