CineMassive
The CinePort is a mobile graphics card that plugs directly into your laptop's PC card (CardBus) or ExpressCard slot and allows you to add up to two 30" displays or four 24" displays at native resolution to your laptop.
Digital Tigers
The SideCar is a little box with a built-in video card which gets connected to a laptop using a PCMCIA card. Several models are available with support for 1-4 monitors.
Magma
PCI expansion systems allow you to connect one or more PCI video cards to your laptop via a PCMCIA card.
Matrox
The DualHead2Go and TripleHead2Go take the output of the laptop's external monitor port and split it between 2 or 3 monitors. Please note that Windows sees the monitors connected to the 2Go cards as a single wide monitor, which causes problems for multi-monitor software such as UltraMon.

MouseJail
useful utility for gamers with multi-monitor systems. Some games don't lock the mouse to the monitor they're on, which causes problems when secondary monitors are enabled. Some examples are Ghost Recon and GTA 3. MouseJail solves this problem by starting the game and then locking the mouse to the primary monitor.
NiftyWindows
Utility which allows you to assign special actions to mouse and keyboard buttons.
If UltraMon is also installed, and your mouse has back (4th) and forward (5th) buttons, NiftyWindows supports moving windows to the next/previous monitor by pressing right mouse button + forward mouse button and right mouse button + back mouse button.
In order for this to work, you'll need to create two UltraMon hotkeys:
CTRL + SHIFT + < : move window to next monitor
CTRL + < : move window to previous monitor
