Hi, I'm using two monitors with UltraMon on XP SP2 with Radeon X300 SE 128MB HyperMemory and am using Extend mode. Smart Taskbar is set to Standard. I love UltraMon but there is one thing I can't figure out how to do. I'd like to have the System Tray (maybe called Notification Area) and quicklaunch menu on the right monitor instead of the left. Can this be done?

You can't move the system tray or Quick Launch toolbar to the UltraMon taskbar, but you could do one of the following:
- swap the position of the two taskbars, so that the Windows taskbar with the system tray and Quick Launch toolbar is on the right monitor
- drag the Quick Launch toolbar from the Windows taskbar to the right monitor, and dock it below or above the UltraMon taskbar
Support for toolbar docking will be in UltraMon 3, I'm also going to look into the possibility of moving the system tray to an UltraMon taskbar.

Cristian,
Thanks very much for your reply. I would be happy to switch the two taskbars and even tried to do this by dragging the windows taskbar to the other monitor but couldn't make it work. Is that the way to do it?
I can't try it right now because UltraMon had an error and had to close and doesn't want to reopen. Maybe I'll have to reboot.

That should work fine, just make sure the taskbar is unlocked before you try to move it. To unlock the taskbar, right-click it with the mouse and uncheck 'Lock the Taskbar'.
Do you get an error message when trying to start UltraMon?

Christian,
I succeeded in getting the taskbars swapped! I was able to unlock the windows taskbar and drag it to the right monitor. Then I had the UltraMon taskbar on top of it. Then I right clicked the UltraMon taskbar and was able to select Add Taskbar for Monitor 1 and had three taskbars. Finally I right clicked the extra UltraMon taskbar on Monitor 2 and closed it. Now I am really happy!
Earlier I got a windows message that UltraMon had an error and had to close. It seemed like only the UltraMon taskbar and the icon in the system tray were closed because I still had the Move Window and Maximize to Desktop icons on the windows and they still worked. Later I rebooted and the problem was gone.
Thanks bunches!
